On December 21, the Supreme People's Court released the list of 2023 Outstanding Court Cases in China, and three cases concluded by Guangzhou Maritime Court (GZMC) have been included in the list, one winning the Third Prize and two garnering the Merit Award.

The jury received 6,688 cases qualified for review, among which 585 winners were selected based on a comprehensive review of various aspects, such as applicable law application and values, by the elite judges, professors and prestigious legal experts designated by the Supreme People's Court, under the principles of fairness and impartiality and in adherence to high standards and strict requirements. Specifically, 22 cases won the First Prize, 115 Second Prize, 224 Third Prize, and 224 Merit Award.
