On the afternoon 19th, Jan 2019, Yu Mingyong, Vice Director of the Standing Committee of Guangzhou People’s Congress, led six-people visited Guangzhou Maritime Court(GZMC) and where a meeting was then held. President and Secretary of Party Leadership Group Ye Liudong received them and other Members of the Party Leadership Group were at the meeting.

The conference was presided by Director Zheng Liecheng. During the meeting, Vice Director Yue Lian of Judiciary Committee repeated job arrangement of the Standing Committee of Guangzhou People’s Congress that related to GZMC including listening to the first half year work report in June and the whole year work report end of the year, and filing reviewing its published normative documents. 

President Ye thanked Vice Director’s visit and reported GZMC’s new work plan to him. Ye pointed out that it’s the great kindness and supervision for the Congress listening to the work report of GZMC twice a year, we will follow the guidance to make trial work in good operation. The CPC central committee and the state council had issued Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development Plan, as we are sitting in an important city in Bay Area, we should grasp the opportunity to give our implementing advice.

On behalf of Director Chen Jianhua of the Congress, Yu extended New Year greeting to all members of GZMC, he also said the Bay Area Development Plan outlined a wide developing prospect for Guangzhou and others cities within the Bay Area circle. GZMC should size the valuable opportunity to give a feasible program and put it to implementation thence to build GZMC into a high-level maritime trial center inthe Bay Area.
